This course introduces the breakdown of gender identity, gender expression, sexuality & biological sex, pronouns & misgendering, and how to be an active ally.
In this course youā€™ll understand proper use of gender identity terms and recognize that practicing allyship is one of the most important things we can do as individuals and as leaders. Exhibiting understanding and allyship not only enables us to reflect upon our personal values and privileges, but is also a way to attract, develop, engage, retain, and advance everyoneā€™s unique talents in the workplace!

About the Presenter
Stiles Foster
Stiles Foster (he/they) is currently the Chief Learning Officer at blendVET. Throughout his extensive career in veterinary medicine, he has transitioned from being a veterinary technician to working as the diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging (DEIB) manager at a major corporate veterinary emergency group and DEIB consultant within the veterinary profession. During their pivot into the world of DEIB, Stiles claimed the inaugural role as the first DEIB professional within their corporation, developing & overseeing the educational team, content, programming, & strategy prior to joining blendVET.
