About the Presenters
Stiles Foster (he/they) is currently the Chief Learning Officer at blendVET. Throughout his extensive career in veterinary medicine, he has transitioned from being a veterinary technician to working as the diversity, equity, inclusion, & belonging (DEIB) manager at a major corporate veterinary emergency group and DEIB consultant within the veterinary profession. During their pivot into the world of DEIB, Stiles claimed the inaugural role as the first DEIB professional within their corporation, developing & overseeing the educational team, content, programming, & strategy prior to joining blendVET.
Khristian Finch (he/him) has served as a veterinary professional since 2009, and currently works as a veterinary technician within the Atlanta, GA metroplex. During his time as a client service coordinator, animal trainer, groomer, and Practice Manager, he describes his positive experiences with his transgender journey within the medical profession, and the impacts of having an empathic approach within the clinic setting. As an employee, he details how he became comfortable answering limited questions by his associates, yet also directing them to utilize a variety of tools to self-educate, such as resources provided by PrideVMC.
